The Kaelus (formerly Summitek) iPA-0707A is part of Kaelus' (the test equipment company formerly known as Summitek) iPA range of Passive Intermodulation Analyzers (PIM). The iPA-0707A is an extremely strong and robust test device that is built to withstand rough and tough use. It is also cleverly designed into a compact and ergonomic shell which is battery-operated and also houses an iPad Mini to allow remote controlled, hands-free testing.
This is particularly useful when safety is a concern, an aspect that Kaelus have definitely given some thought to. They have also developed an optional Range To Fault (RTF) module that goes with the PIM Analyzer for rapid identification of the position of the PIM and source of return losses.
An IEC compliant instrument, the Kaelus (formerly Summitek) iPA-0707A is a must have tool for network operators as it helps aid them in the improvement of site performance through its Reverse (reflected) PIM, 3rd and 5th order measurement configuration.
